# Your account

One Nusa account does everything: renting, hosting, or both.

You sign in with Google, GitHub, or a sign-in message sent to your email address. There's no password. When your account is created, you agree to Nusa's terms.

## Two balances

Your account has two balances, kept apart:

* **Credit**, which pays for rentals. See [Credit](file:///6919936/credit/credit.md).
* **Earnings**, from hosting. You can move Available earnings into Credit. See [What hosting earns](file:///6919936/credit/hosting-earnings.md).

## Your Profile

From the account menu, open **Profile** to see the email address your account goes by and the ways you can sign in, and to sign out your other devices.

## Your invitation link

Your account has an invitation link of its own. You can copy it from your Profile, and see how many people joined through it and how many of them have rented.

Inviting doesn't earn anything at the moment.

### Joining through an invitation

* **Follow the link, then sign in as usual.** You can look around first. If you're new to Nusa, the code is applied when your account is created, with nothing to enter.
* **No link?** Right after your account is created, you're asked once for an invitation code. You can skip it.
* **Forgot to enter one?** You can enter a code from your Profile for 7 days after your account is created, as long as you haven't rented yet.
* **A link is remembered for 30 days in the browser you opened it in.** Opening it on your phone doesn't carry over to your computer.

## If your account is under review

Nusa can put an account under review. You can still sign in and look around, and every page tells you the account is under review. While it's under review:

* **You can't rent, use the trial on Overview, or list a machine.** If you try, you're told why, and how to [contact Nusa support](mailto:support@nissology.ai).
* **Your machines are taken off the market**, and you can't list them again yourself. If one is being rented, that rental ends: its renter is refunded in full, and you aren't paid for it.
* **A rental you're renting ends**, and it isn't refunded. If you think it was a mistake, [contact Nusa support](mailto:support@nissology.ai) to appeal.

You can still sign out, and sign out your other devices.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.nusa.nissology.ai/getting-started/your-account.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
